App Development Steam Camps
In these virtual, 10-week Steam Camps, create a full-fledged iOS application via Swift Playgrounds—the perfect compiler for learning the ins and outs of the Swift coding language. We will be exploring the SwiftUI framework in order to design the user interfaces you see regularly on iOS applications.
- Week 1 – Introduction and Xcode Basics
- Week 2 – If/else and switch statements and Arrays/Lists
- Week 3 – For Loops and Concept Builder
- Week 4 – Introduction to UI Layouts
- Week 5 – Using Swift UI
- Week 6 – UI Stacks
- Week 7 – Introduction to Functions
- Week 8 – Deeper dive into Functions
- Week 9 – Adding backend programming to UI
- Week 10 – Final feedback and showcasing
By the end of this Steam Camp, students will be able to design their own iOS Applications from scratch.
