Java Programming Steam Camps
In these virtual, 10-week Steam Camps, you will use Java, one of the most widely-used programming languages in the world. Students will receive a thorough introduction to arrays, loops, arguments, functions, and the larger applications of the language, eventually concluding with an in-house milestone project.
- Week 1 – Basics of Coding
- Week 2 – Conditionals and Operationals
- Week 3 – Loops
- Week 4 – Functions/Arguments
- Week 5 – Applications of Camps 1 – 4
- Week 6 – Review of Camps 1 – 5
- Week 7 – Arrays
- Week 8 – Simple Game Design
- Week 9 – Final Project
- Week 10 – Review Final Projects
By the end of this Steam Camp, students will be able to effectively create Java-based projects.
